Jambot

This week Mulberry Class have been writing their own algorithms for making a jam sandwich, after it went disastrously wrong when Miss BB turned into Jambot! Maybe she is a Jampire like Mr BB?! 

Mulberry class were brilliant at giving their instructions, then they wrote down their algorithms for future use, using flowchart symbols. Miss BB thought it was funny that lots of them only wanted their algorithm to have one choice for the decision - Do you want to make another sandwich? - YES! (I did have to tell lots of Mulberries that they need a 'no' choice so that the poor Jambot could have a rest!)

Scratch coding

On Thursday we had a go at writing algorithms using Scratch. We really enjoyed this and could use the skills that we learned from Espresso coding. We had fun making different characters and backgrounds, then making our characters move.

Pupil in role!

This morning we have been acting as a pupil in role, pretending to be a story character called Callum. We have been asking and answering questions about him.

  

 

Digital leaders

On Tuesday afternoon the digital leaders helped year one children to use paint to create some lovely firework pictures. Mrs Tovell said they were great at helping!

Coding Whizz Kids
