Learning at home - the Ancient Egyptians

Take a look at our amazing learning at home this half term. There are pyramids, death masks, information posters, cartouches, sarchophaguses and much much more! I think it is incredible - what do you think? (More pictures to come soon.)

We learned that the pyramids would have been white when they were first created!

Look inside the sarcophagus...

An interactive poster!

What's inside this sarcophagus?

Enough treasures for a king's afterlife!

Egyptian Day - a thank you!

Not the best photos - chopped off heads, serious and silly expressions - but they still show the brilliant collaboration, concentration and fun during our Egyptian day! Thanks for all your support with the amazing costumes, the effort you put into their lunches and your help on the day. We enjoyed trying some new foods today (the cake from Mrs Arbin was a firm favourite!) I'm sure you will agree that the children look amazing!

Egyptian Day - scarab beetles, mummified people and cats!

Egyptian Day - Lunch for the Workers!

A good lunch is definitely what is needed for all the hard workers!

A delicious Egyptian sweet treat from Mrs Arbin!

Egyptian day - canopic jar makers

An Egyptian team of canopic jar makers have been working hard to get ready for the Pharaoh's organs.

Evie's looks amazing! Come back soon to see more finished jars.
